In 1953, a variation with simpler capitals was added as Saltino. Saltarello (1954) combines Salto’s capitals with condensed upright lowercase letters featuring long ascenders.
The metal Salto has various ligatures incl. ‘ch’ ‘ck’ ‘ft’ ‘tz’ and alternates for ‘DMNWrz7’. The digital version includes these secondary forms only.
