Made for Photo-Lettering, Inc. in the 1960s in 3 styles; Cooper Nouveau (upright, an amorphous take on Cooper Black), and the italic Cooper Nouveau Swash in 2 weights. Letraset’s Lazybones is very similar to the bold. FotoStar’s name for the bold was Funky. Also shown in Lettergraphics’ 1976 catalog as Funky Swash.
The lighter weight (shown) was revived by Dave Foster for the digital reincarnation of PLINC in 2015.
