A compressed crotchless Grotesk. Appears as Plakadur type in poster sizes (6–20 cicero) in Berthold specimens including Nos. 405 (1950s) and 470 (1965). Plakadur is Berthold’s brand name for the resin Trolon, introduced in c. 1950. [Th. Maier] Sizes from 6–32 cicero were also available in wood, and Greek caps available on request. It’s unclear whether this face was available as foundry type, too.
Referenced by Christian Schwartz for the design of Kommissar.
