PewDiePie (Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) is an extremely popular YouTuber. He has recently become yet more notable due to being in danger of losing his top spot as the most subscribed channel on the site (when excluding compilation channels such as “Music”).

Felix has a show in his channel called LWIAY (“Last Week I Asked You”), in which he looks at the top memes posted in his personal subreddit, r/PewdiepieSubmissions/, in the preceding week.

Every episode of LWIAY begins with this intro, made by the YouTuber/musician Day by Dave. The lyrics of the intro ditty are in Typodermic’s Soap, which is a unicase version of Cooper Black. The LWIAY logo itself seems to be a stretched version of Impact.

LWIAY and the LWIAY intro is a copy of another YouTuber jacksfilms’ YIAY (“Yesterday I Asked You”). jacksfilms only has 4.5 million subs, so I can see why people don’t acknowledge that he came up with the idea first but I still want to point out that he was the one who came up with the original concept.

I knew of the origin of LWIAY, but I hadn’t actually watched it to know that the design was copying it too. Cool.
