A triumph of DIY sewing: Polich’s almost finished and semi-finished clothing items (trademarked). Fitting and modern elegance of the highest quality. The latest novelties. Robes starting from 6 Marks.
This ad by August Polich from 1907 exclusively uses italics. The bold display face is Anzeigen-Rundschrift, a stand-alone cursive cast by Woellmer as Anzeigen-Rundschrift before 1894. The smaller type is Torpedo-Zirkular, the italic member of the Torpedo series, issued by the local Hoffmeister foundry in 1898–1899 in four styles.
