Toad Road, a small clothing boutique in Albuquerque, New Mexico, wanted a fresh and sexy campaign to catch some eyes.

For the typeface, we wanted something thin and tall, as well as contemporary. Grotzec Headline was the typeface of choice.

For your unicase logo: You will want to bolster up (and widen) the capitals a little. Simply scaling them down doesn’t work: They don’t match the lowercase in weight anymore. This is especially distracting in a calligraphic design such as Ondine.

      Florian,

Thanks for the feedback. The logo was out of my control, unfortunately. I’ll take your suggestion and pitch it to the owner, however.

As for Grotsec Headline, I wish that I refined the leading and tracking a bit more. That’s of course looking at it with fresh eyes now. :)
