The independent weekly Das Tage-Buch was published from January 1920 until January 1933. Founded by the Viennese journalist and theater critic Stefan Großman with assistance from publisher Ernst Rowohlt in Berlin, it was later continued by co-editor Leopold Schwarzschild who published Das Neue Tage-Buch in exile in Paris until 1940.
