Designer Julien Hébert is best known for designing the identity system for the 1967 International and Universal Exposition or Expo 67, in Montreal, Canda. The design is in tune with the prevailing modernist traditions of the time and uses Univers for text and Optima for the logotype.

Boy have the times changed.  You simply would not recognize Man and His World today.

Optima, a perfect choice for the “Expo67” logo.
What a fantastic world exposition it was!
